You would think with a name like Lemon that this little lady would be quite the sourpuss! Well, we hate to break it to you, but this kitty is sweeter than you could possibly imagine, like a lemon cake! Her low-key personality makes her one of the most welcoming creatures, and it's hard to not smile when she greets you after you walk through the door! Her behavior is that of a doting mother, and you're her child! She likes to keep an eye on you and follow you around the house to make sure you don't get into anything you're not supposed to!

Lemon is a senior kitty with a few things she would like to ask of her potential family. She's unsure about other kitties. She had an incident where a family rushed introductions and threw her in with their other cats without a proper adjusting period. She's been very hesitant about kitties since then. She likes to take things nice and slow, so she can get to know her family and their pets. You'll know when she's comfortable around you when you find yourself as a lap pillow for this queen! As long as you can respect her boundaries during this period, Lemon will love you like her own kitten!

Little Lemon has had some litterbox issues in the past as well. She's been on a renal diet, which has been working phenomenally for her! She's a foodie by nature and can't wait for food time! She prefers wet food over dry if you wanna win her over! Other than those two things, Lemon doesn't ask for much!

This girl and humans go hand-in-hand like bread and butter! Sure, she'll need some time to get to know you, but once she does, Lemon and you will be inseparable! She loves affection to a fault, and she loves to give it too! She may not like to be held or picked up, but she does love to shower you with love! She'll invite herself into the room, hop up on your lap, and give you a look that says, "It's time for my pettings!" How can we deny her?

Sleep and petting sessions are her absolute favorite! She usually rewards the petter with a nice loud purr! She may even sleep next to you in bed! Well, she may also sleep ON TOP of you when you're asleep, but we think that she's just trying to keep you warm and comfy! Whenever you get up from your spot, she'll meow at you and run ahead of you. If she does this, she's hoping you'll follow her into the kitchen!

Lemon might be a cool and calm cat, but there is one thing that'll change that in an instant! And that is her wand toy! It's like you have a whole new different cat! She will spring into action with cat-like reflexes to chase down that toy! She's an absolute treat when it comes to playtime!

Lemon's adoption donation is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
