Legume's Story

Ready to bring a big boy into your life? Meet playful and loving Legume! He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Legume (and his sister Sprouts) were relinquished to Soul Dog but had very little socialization with humans. A few short months in a safe & quiet home, and Legume has already learned to love and trust his foster humans. He will crawl onto the sofa or hop into bed for cuddles, ear rubs, or just to be near you. Legume loves to race up the climbing tree chasing a feather toy. He is not fond of being picked up yet. He will let foster Mom pick him up, but usually jumps down pretty quickly when the older teens try. He is better if they pick him up and set him on their laps when sitting down. Legume has done a great job learning to trust humans and accept attention and love. He is neat and tidy in regards to food, water and the litter box! Due to his uncertain beginnings, Legume may do best in a quiet older teen/adult household. He would make an excellent apartment or condo kitty as he has been living in a two room space with his sister for the past few months. When you are ready to have a sweet and calm lap warmer, Legume is ready to be your guy!
