🐾 Meet Legend! 💙<br/><br/>Legend is a 10-month-old boy who has been through more in his short life than any cat should ever have to endure. After being intentionally shot and suffering devastating damage to his scapula and leg, Legend ultimately needed an amputation. He spent several days in the ICU following surgery before making his way into foster care. 🖤🐾<br/><br/>Despite everything he has been through, Legend has remained one of the sweetest, most loving boys you could ever meet. ❤️ He absolutely craves attention and affection! Legend can be shy when he first meets someone and may hide while he figures out whether he feels safe. But give him a little time and patience, and you'll get to see the real Legend come out. Once he trusts you, he loves to nuzzle into you, cuddle up beside you, and soak up every bit of affection you’ll give him. 🥰<br/><br/>And life on three legs? Legend has absolutely figured it out! 💪🐾 He gets around beautifully and has adjusted incredibly well to his new normal. Nothing seems to slow this three-legged warrior down. He even uses his cardboard scratching post with his remaining front leg—and his foster mom has discovered that he’s apparently capable of some pretty impressive three-legged jumps! 😂<br/><br/>Legend has also shown off a few adorable surprises along the way. We originally thought this handsome boy was completely black, but his foster mom discovered that he has a little “white cream filling” on his chest and undercarriage! 😊🖤🤍<br/><br/>Legend is now thriving on three legs and is ready to begin looking for his forever family. His neuter is scheduled for September 30, and we want to be especially thoughtful about finding the right home for this very special boy. ❤️<br/><br/>Legend would do best in a home without a lot of stairs.
