Lefty's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lefty is a very sweet young girl (DOB approx Sept 2024). She is a gorgeous medium haired black kitty with a slight head tilt to the left. The vet who checked her out at the shelter noted possible cerebellar hypoplasia but otherwise she is healthy and gets around just fine. Cerebellar Hypoplasia causes issues with balance and coordination but is not contagious and they can live healthy, normal lives. And her slight head tilt doesn't slow her down at all. While she is a little shy at first she warms up quickly and LOVES attention. She loves playing with other cats and is bonded to her sister, Lira, and they will need to be adopted as a pair. She also doesn't mind the dogs in her foster home and will probably be fine with kids who are a little older and calmer. She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Their adoption fee is sponsored for our Home for the Holidays promotion

To adopt Lira and Lefty, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/forms
