LEAF is a bit shy at first. But he will warm up quickly. Once he warms up, he wants all your attention! He will head butt you and rub all his face on you, He will then proceed to throw himself and want you to rub his belly. This guy is very, very affectionate!!!<br/><br/><br/><br/>LEAF loves his soft food and loves to play with his brother. Ideally we would like to see him adopted with his brother THEO. They just seem to love to be together. They sleep together and eat together.<br/><br/><br/><br/>LEAF is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 6 months old and is good with cats. In his foster home, he was around other kittens and older cats. He has never been around children or dogs.<br/><br/><br/><br/>LEAF is currently located at a PETSMART in Murrieta, CA off Madison Avenue.<br/><br/><br/>JANUARY 2022: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any of the PETSMARTS listed below. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first.<br/><br/><br/><br/>VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS:<br/><br/>1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form<br/>2. Submit Application<br/>3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview<br/>4. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>5. Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>6. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>7. Pay Adoption Fee<br/>8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>9. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS ***********************<br/><br/><br/>You can obtain an application one of 3 ways.<br/><br/><br/>The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located (or the others listed below) and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. You may ask the volunteer if you can briefly meet the cat / kitten. But please be aware some of them might not be comfortable to let you meet the pet due to COVID. <br/><br/><br/>PETSMART locations where available applications for WORKIN' WHISKERS can be picked up:<br/><br/><br/>PETSMART <br/>in Murrieta, Ca off Madison Avenue<br/><br/>in Hemet, Ca off Florida Avenue<br/><br/>on Palm Desert, Ca off Monterey Avenue<br/><br/><br/><br/>The 2nd way is to request an application. The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.<br/><br/><br/>We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.<br/><br/><br/><br/>LEAF is ALREADY fully vetted.<br/>The adoption fee of $200 covers:<br/><br/><br/>Neuter<br/>FVRCP shots<br/>RABIES shot<br/>FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)<br/>Drontal Dewormer<br/>Stronghold Flea Control<br/>Microchip<br/><br/><br/>If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby!
