LeBEAU<br/>His name literally means “The Beautiful.” And BOY, does he fit the bill!<br/>LeBeau arrived at Crash’s Landing on August 17, 2026, and even though he was still intact—and, shall we say, carrying a little extra eau de tomcat—there was no denying that this boy was absolutely stunning. Just a little stinky. At an estimated 412 years old (born in February 2022), LeBeau was quite the handsome stud muffin when he arrived.<br/>His rescuers had been keeping an eye on him for a week or so after he showed up in their neighborhood, making sure he was fed and looked after, but when LeBeau developed a slight limp, they knew something wasn't quite right and reached out for help.<br/>As it turned out, one of his nails had avulsed—essentially ripping completely off—and had developed a mild infection. He also tested positive for Giardia and had bilateral ear infections. Fortunately, none of it seemed to dampen his spirits. We got him treated, fixed him up, and before long, LeBeau was feeling like his old handsome self again.<br/>And then came the really good news: LeBeau was THRILLED to become an Indoor Kitty!<br/>This boy absolutely LOVES people. In fact, he will do just about anything to get your attention. One of his favorite techniques is stretching those long front legs right up your leg, essentially saying, “Excuse me, human. I believe you forgot to pick me up.” He is affectionate, outgoing, and wonderfully interactive—and he genuinely wants to be part of whatever his people are doing.<br/>He gets along with the other cats here and enjoys having feline company, although we suspect he'd be happiest sharing his home with just one other cat rather than a whole houseful. He's got the occasional case of the zoomies, is always ready for a little playtime, and then he's perfectly content to settle back in with his people.<br/>And here's the best part about LeBeau: he's adaptable.<br/>A busy, active household? Great! A quieter home where life moves at a more leisurely pace? Also great! As long as there are people around who are willing to give him the attention he so enthusiastically requests, LeBeau really doesn't care what your schedule looks like.<br/>He's handsome. He's affectionate. He's playful. He's social. He's appreciative. Honestly, we're struggling to come up with a downside.<br/>LeBeau may have arrived as a stray, but he has absolutely no intention of living like one ever again. What he wants now is simple: a home, a family, a lap—or at least a leg to climb—and someone who will appreciate just how very beautiful he is.<br/>Because when your name means “The Beautiful,” you'd better be prepared to live up to it.
