Layla's Story
Sweet Layla loves being brushed SO MUCH that sometimes she drools! Layla is one of our longer term residents at Animal Advocates. She's a sweet girl, but she's terrible at first impressions and isn't the type to make the first move to initiate interactions. Once she gets familiar and comfortable with someone though, Layla is a ball of love (and sometimes drool!). Layla loves: lounging on the enclosed porch at the rescue (aka the "catio"), being brushed, Churu and other special treats, catnip and calm people. Layla dislikes: rambunctious younger cats, meeting new people and loud noises. Layla would be a great buddy if you're patient, willing to give her time to adjust and have a quieter home environment with a spot near a window where she can sun herself. You will be rewarded with a loving cat who is so deserving, after so long, of a real home. We imagine in a home Layla would enjoy sitting nearby in a windowsill or the top of couch while her family watches TV. Her birthday is approximately 10/2016.

Our team is happy to discuss with approved applicants the possibility of a long-term foster placement for Layla. In a long-term foster placement the goal is to connect special animals with individuals in the community who are interest in caring for a pet. The rescue will provide supply and vetting support as needed.

All cats are up-to-date on age/weight appropriate vaccines, exams, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), flea treated, dewormed, spayed/neutered and microchipped. If not completed at the time of adoption, any remaining initial vetting will be covered by the rescue.

Apply to adopt! Information located at animaladvocates.net
