Layla's Story

Layla is one of the lucky cats from the “East Texas 50” we rescued back in May, and she’s ready for her very own happy ending. This sweet and gentle diluted calico has already done the hard work of raising her kittens, and now that she’s fully vetted, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled. Layla’s personality is as soft as her coloring—calm, affectionate, and always happy to be near her people. She loves pets and attention, but she’s also content to relax in a sunny window and watch the world go by. After everything she’s been through, she deserves the comfort of a loving home where she can be someone’s cherished companion. New Hope Animal Rescue NFP 's Adoption Policy

We verify references for our fosters and volunteers to make sure our rescued animals have the best care while waiting for their forever homes. Likewise, we ask any potential adopter fill out and submit our adoption application prior to scheduling a meet and greet with a pet in a foster home. This does not obligate you to adopt, but it is the first step towards being added to our approved list of adopters. Applicants are approved pending vet reference and personal reference checks, and a home visit. All current animals in the home must be spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines as well as heartworm and flea prevention and any information provided on an application will be verified. Thank you for your patience with our process! We are grateful you are looking to adopt your next pet.
