Lavetta's Story

Lavetta was being cared for as a stray when she showed up with an injured leg. If approved, we will contact you to set up a time to meet our adoptable cats. We will not schedule meet and greets without an approved application on file. Adoption fee is $200. All of our cats receive routine vet care, are fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption (if age appropriate).

Her leg healed at a bit of an unusual angle, so it’s a little shorter than the others and she doesn’t fully put weight on it — but the good news is she’s comfortable and doesn’t need an amputation as long as she continues doing well.
And through it all, Lavetta has remained an absolutely beautiful calico girl ready to start her next chapter.

Once you meet your perfect match, you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee in full. We will provide you with the cat's vaccination records, rabies tag and certificate, microchip information, and a sample bag of food. Then you are free to take your new family member home! All of our cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption (if older than 4 months). If you adopt a kitten younger than 4 months from us, your signed adoption contract will require you have the kitten spayed/neutered no later than 6 months of age. Proof of spay/neuter will need to be provided to us once this has been done. If for any reason you are unable to care for your adopted cat anymore, your signed adoption contract requires you to notify us immediately so that we can ensure he/she is re-homed appropriately. Our standard adoption fee is $100 which includes spay/neuter and vaccinations. Please note that many of our cats are sponsored, meaning someone has offered to pay their adoption fee so you don't have to. We also frequently offer reduced adoption fees.
