Meet Lavender

Lavender is a sweet girl, and very shy. For the first few months we had her, she hid and only came out for food and water. If she was out and we saw her she would scurry back into the cat tree. We suspect she was abused in the past. Once she started coming out to see us, she was very affectionate. She sits on our laps and cuddles, plays with toys, and loves to be pet. Lavender is a very easy cat. She doesn't knock things down or play super hard, she is very much a couch potato. If you are looking for a low key, sweet cat, she's perfect. Lavender takes a minute to build trust but once she trusts you, you are special. She loves her humans. She is also a very beautiful cat, with eyes so blue they can look lavender, hence her name. She needs to lose a little weight, and doesn't seem to do well with free choice food. We recommend feeding her a set amount twice a day, or using a timed feeder. We send all of our cats home with a small bag of food and litter.
