Laurel

Laurel is a beautiful, petite young lady who has already lived through more than any cat should. She was found outside with her three babies huddled close to her, all while she was struggling with a broken leg. The kind people who spotted her knew she needed help fast, and they brought Laurel and her kittens straight to safety to us.<br/><br/>She went right to the vet, where they splinted her leg so it could heal properly. Through it all, Laurel remained gentle, patient, and so incredibly sweet. She’s estimated to be about 2 years old, but now that her leg has healed, she has the spirit of a playful kitten — racing around the shelter, making friends with the other cats, and spending her afternoons perched in the window watching birds flutter by.<br/><br/>Her babies have all been adopted, and now it’s Laurel’s turn.
