Laura's Story

Meet Laura!

Laura is a beautiful all-black, 1-year-old sweetheart who came to us after being found wandering as a stray with her sister, Frankie. While Frankie tested negative for FeLV twice, Laura tested positive twice, which means she'll need a home where she can either be your only kitty or live with other FeLV+ friends. But don't let that scare you - this girl has so much love and life to share.

Laura is an absolute cuddle bug. The moment she sees you, she's ready to climb right into your lap for pets, snuggles, and all your attention. She's incredibly affectionate and quickly becomes a staff favorite everywhere she goes.

When she's not soaking up love, Laura is busy being playful and silly. She adores toys - especially wand toys - and will show off some seriously impressive moves while trying to catch them. She also enjoys chasing balls and exploring her space with her naturally curious nature.

Laura is a gentle, joyful cat who deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished. If you're looking for a lap-loving, playful, and endlessly sweet companion, Laura might just be the perfect match for you.

Once we have received that application we will review it, and call you to schedule an appointment to come and meet our animals! On the application, if you do not have a veterinarian reference, please consider one you may be using. Adoption visits may or may not happen on the same day. Adoption approval may take a few days. On the Day of Adoption: If you are adopting a dog, please bring a carrier and/or leash and collar with you to pick up your pet. If you are adopting a cat, you will be required to bring a carrier. Animals are not deemed adopted until all paperwork has been processed, fees paid, and the animal is released. Adoption Fees Cover the Following: Up to date shots/vaccinations for the pet's age Deworming Heartworm test (dogs over 6 months) FIV/FeLeuk test (cats) Petlink Microchip Spay/Neuter Includes free vet exam within 2 weeks after adoption.
