Lasagna Willow Grove area (FCID# 05/16/23 - 135) C's Story

Waiting almost 3 years for her forever home!!! Lasagna is a velvety black cat who has been waiting a long time to be adopted, for some unknown reason.
She is a young female, spayed cat who likes hopping around in a “Halloween” cat pose while playing. She is entertaining as she chases a ribbon or carries around her favorite toy in her mouth: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/yyzAfrwmS6Q . She enjoys watching birds from the window or on the TV: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/s4lEQMX1PFc .
Lasagna is a big fan of catnip and uses her scratching board like a pro. She has perfect litterbox habits. At times, she’ll sit in your lap and purr loudly. She'll greet you at the door like a dog and purrs happily. She's generally a quiet cat.

She loves her meals and is not a picky eater. However, she does need portion control to keep her weight in check, so we use a handy autofeeder (will go with Lasagna when she is adopted) for dry food, but Lasagna also needs a little canned food once per day.
Lasagna is in foster care with no other pets but was not aggressive toward other cats when in the shelter. At one point some time ago, she had been introduced to a dog and was fine.
She likely has a mild case of asthma, as she coughs occasionally for about 30 seconds, but a HEPA filter works well to keep down allergens for her.
Lasagna has a 'petting tolerance,' so it's best to know her sign. Thus, it may be a good idea for her to go to a home without small children.
Would YOU like to offer Lasagna her forever home? Please submit our no-obligation adoption application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Not ready to adopt? Please consider fostering: https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/. Thank you! (Foster: Joyce B.)
