Larry's Story
Larry originally came to HSOC in 2023. He was adopted in December of that year but sadly returned to us about a year and a half later when his owner passed away.

We were told he was a HUGE love bug and social butterfly at the assisted living facility. He was very playful and loved being where the people were. Book club, happy hour, TV watching, laundry folding, etc. Name an activity and Larry would be there to socialize and help! He loves to be brushed, is easily crated for trips to the vet and comes running when called. He is an all-around good boy and ideal companion.

Larry is FIV-positive, but don't let that scare you! Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives and can safely share a home with other cats, as long as everyone gets along and there's no serious fighting. FIV isn't easily spread. It's primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, which are rare in peaceful households.

Larry is a favorite in Cat Room 1. He will gladly accept pets from all visitors and loves to give kisses. A loving boy like him deserves a home of his own-one where he can curl up on warm laps and shower his family with all the affection he has to give.
