Larry's Story

Ok so — yes, Larry is a girl. Did we know that when we named her? Not at all. The name stuck for now (her fosters call her Larissa when she’s being troublesome), but she isn’t attached to it so you can change it at your leisure!

Larry is courageous, boisterous, playful, and a little tuxedo whirlwind. She has a busy to do list of doing kitten things over cuddling with humans right now, but is down for playtime if you have a good string toy.

Important Larry quirk: Larry really only sleeps when laying under, on top of, across, or some other silly variation of body-to-body contact with another cat (and occasionally a pillow). This means we find Larry sleeping in all kinds of funny and weird positions and places.

Because of this quirk, we’d strongly recommend she is adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another affectionate cat.

Larry is litter trained, good with being brushed, held like a baby (if not busy attending to other kitten matters, she says), wearing a collar, and isn’t even scared of the roomba! As soon as she is big enough, Upcat Rescue will get her spayed. In the meantime, she is ready to find her forever home!

Because of Larry’s age and personality, she needs to be adopted into a home with another cat or with one of her sweet siblings (pictured!), check out our other adoptees.

Contact julie@upcatrescue.org
