Larry's Story

Larry is a very special, special needs cat! Emaciated, sick and looking for help, he befriended a family who in turn asked for help for him. Blood tests came back positive for FIV but Larry captured the hearts of the vet staff and his care givers and it was decided he would be given the chance at a happy life. Larry is a big, friendly, talkative guy who loves nothing better than your attention, a good conversation and a belly rub. His favorite pass time is relaxing and sitting with his people. His congestion is so thick and we’ve found a comfortable dosage to keep him breathing. But the lack of progress led us for more vet appts. He underwent a dental to remove a couple teeth where we had hopes of finding polyps as the reason. He has a broken nasal passage is in need of surgery to repair nose damage which would need to be with a specialist (ideally but he is comfortable). He takes daily medication to avoid infections. Larry will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.<br/><br/>Larry is about 1 year old.

Cat Crew California's Adoption Policy

We require an adoption application to be sent in. After the adoption application is approved, one of our volunteers will reach out and do a phone interview. If all goes well, we then connect the potential adopter with the foster home of the animals they are interested in. They have a virtual and/or in person meet and greet. After that, we connect with the foster to see if they approve and think that the applicant is the best home for the animal. Then the adoption can move forward to completion.
