Lark's Story

Hi! I’m Lark — part-time speedster, full-time bundle of happy chaos. If there’s an open floor, I’m zooming across it at maximum velocity. Every day is the best day ever, and I’m determined to celebrate it at top speed!

I’m also really into competitive toy borrowing. If there’s a fun toy out, I may gently and enthusiastically relocate it. Think of me as your personal excitement coordinator — I just like to keep things lively and fun!

And when I finally run out of zoom? Total power-off. One minute I’m a blur, the next I’m snoozing like I’ve just completed a marathon. I might have a slight "mischief manager" reputation, but I come with nonstop smiles, endless wiggles, and just enough charm. I get along well with everyone; cats, kids and adults. I’m looking for a furrever family with at least one other cat, hopefully one of my brother, so I always have a friend to play with, even if my human isn’t home.

Almost Home's Adoption Requirements:
* Be at least 21 years of age
* Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household
* Have written approval from owner of residence
* Have a valid government-issued photo ID with current address
* Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Almost Home Foundation
* Be ready to make a lifetime commitment
* Live in the greater Chicagoland area (Illinois residents only)
* Pass a veterinarian reference check for current and past pets

If you are interested in Lark, please complete an online adoption application at https://almosthomefoundation.org/adopt/adopt-a-cat/ or email cats@almosthomefoundation.org.

*** Please note that Almost Home Foundation accepts only cash, checks, or Zelle for adoption fees; we do not accept debit or credit cards. ***
