Lana's Story

Beautiful young cat, comes to us via another rescue. Lana has tested positive for FIV, an autoimmune disease that many cats cats live with in good health and normal life span. FIV virus is not viable outside the cats body and is never spread by causal contact. Only breeding and deep bite wounds that Tom cats often deliver in territorial battles. Lana won't be doing any of that. Lana is Very affectionate, looks forward to her forever home and family routine. Lana has been exposed to other cats and our dogs. She is not used to interaction with cats and negative experiences with dogs makes her defensive with new dogs, but you can expect that will change, if the family dog is ok with leaving Lana be. She will acclimate with time and patience. If you are interested in Lana please complete the Petfinder inquiry or email for an application and more information, catalliesoftexas@gmail.com <br/>She can be seen most Saturdays at adoption events at San Marcos PetSmart, please ask for dates we will be there.
