Lammie's Story

Hi, I'm Lammie! I ready for my new home, which ideally is a semi-quiet home with adults only or families with older children. I tend to be a little shy and keep to myself, so a lot of noise may make me want to stay where I know I'm safe. I'm very sweet and love to be petted and held, but I also enjoy my independence. I'm a purr-fect lady who uses a litter box and cleans my food bowl. I need your patience as I adjust to my new home, but I promise I'll make you the perfect companion once we get to know each other!

Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, TN's Adoption Policy

DOG ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, DAPPv & bordetella vaccines, heartworm test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine. Puppies 6 months and under $100. CAT ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, FVRCP vaccine, FIV/FeLV test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine Please note that puppies and kittens under 3 months of age do not receive a rabies vaccine. Puppies under 6 months of age are too young for a heartworm test and kittens under 4 months of age are too young for an FIV/FeLV test. Animals already spayed or neutered may leave with you upon approval of your adoption application. Animals NOT spayed or neutered will be scheduled for surgery at the time of adoption. The animal must be spayed or neutered before going home. All adoptions also include 30 days of opt-in Pet Insurance. Our shelter is open to the public. Open 12pm-5pm Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
