Lainey's Story
Lainey is petite girl, with luxurious long black fur and lovely golden eyes. She is young, maybe 2 years old or less, but we don’t know for sure.

Lainey was found outside at the end of her pregnancy. Almost the moment she was brought in to a safe home, she gave birth to 6 adorable kittens. Now that they are on their way to homes of their own, it’s mama Lainey’s turn for a family to love her!

Lainey has a sweet, gentle disposition and she loves people. She likes attention and will let you carry her around. She’s quite laid back and not at all demanding. Lainey’s foster family says she knows her name and will come when called.

Little Lainey is considered a special needs cat. She has a seizure disorder of unknown origin. The good news is that her seizures are controlled with medication twice a day, with the cost being about $50 per month. Our adoption team will be happy to tell you more about Lainey’s situation and provide support post adoption.

Lainey gets along well with people and she is great with children. In fact, she adores the 2 year old grandchild of her foster family.

Lainey also loves the dogs in her foster home, but she just tolerates other cats. She might give a hiss to show she wants to be left alone, but she’s not a bit aggressive.

Lainey is a wonderful young kitty with a charming personality. She is full of love to give to the family who is lucky enough to adopt her.

If you are interested in learning more about adopting Lainie, please send in an application from our website.

https://www.orangestreetcats.org/adopt.html

or email us at:

osc@orangestreetcats.org

Note: Orange Street Cats is currently following an adoption model that gives you support while getting to know your new cat. In the first few weeks with your new cat or kitten, you will provide a loving home. This gives you and your family an opportunity to be sure this is a good fit for both your family and your new cat. Our adoption team is available during and after the transition period to make sure our adopters and our cats are happy together!
