Lady Jin

Lady Jin has lived her young life on the streets. When she was found, she had four kittens with her. She was still feeding her kittens, even though she was starving and in very poor health. Still, she never left her kittens side and continued to care for and feed them even though she was in desperate need of food. When we first got her she was so small that we thought she was actually one of the kittens as well. She looks to be a very young mother. We found this really sad since she never got a chance to live in a safe happy home, but struggled on the streets since the day she was born. <br/><br/>You will never find a cat a sweet as this one. She so badly wants to stay right by your side. While she is young, she is incredibly calm and mature. If you have ever taken in a stray cat, you'll notice that the majority of the time they are far more thankful for the warm home and love that they receive than other animals that have grown up in homes. Lady Jin is a perfect example. While we think she deserves a wonderful life with the softest beds and best toys, she is perfectly happy with just being loved and safe inside. We gave her the name Jin since it means gentleness. She is by far the most gentle animal that we have had the pleasure of fostering. She is even great with little children and is not at all provoked by some of the other angrier cats that she has met. You cannot ask for a friendlier, low maintenance companion than Lady Jin. She has done such a great job trying to grow up in the harsh streets and taking care of her kittens, that it's time that someone takes care of her so she can finally rest.
