I am a gentle spirit with a heart full of affection, though naturally quiet and a bit reserved. At the shelter, you’ll often find me resting peacefully in my cozy bed, quietly observing my surroundings.Offer me a moment of gentle petting, and I’ll instantly soften—responding with loving headbutts and rolling sweetly from side to side, eager to show my gratitude and growing trust.<br/><br/>Adjusting to shelter life has been a bit daunting, and I’m still finding my confidence. My journey hasn’t been without challenges: years ago, I found a loving home through Forever Love Rescue, but when my owner faced homelessness, they made the heartbreaking decision to return me to the shelter, hoping I might find a family who can provide the stability and care I deserve.<br/><br/>I am friendly with other cats and have experience living with small dogs. Given my current anxiety and unsureness, I would flourish best in a calm, gentle home—especially with a kind and patient owner who will understand my need for a slow, nurturing approach.<br/><br/>I’m quietly waiting in the Kitty Corner, hoping someone with a kind heart will see me and offer a forever home filled with warmth, safety, and love. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.<br/><br/>Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.<br/><br/>No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.<br/><br/>We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
