Laddie (& Snowball)'s Story

Laddie is a 9 month old, gray and white tuxedo, shorthair, neutered male.

Laddie is a very sweet kitten, and he adds calm energy to his foster home.

He loves to snuggle and play. When not doing those things, he likes to “loaf” and observe the world around. He is very go-with-the-flow and does not dislike anything in particular. Laddie’s sweet nature also translates into loving to snuggle with the people in his foster home.

Laddie enjoys sitting in laps if he is picked up. He appreciates attention and being adored by his foster family. He even enjoys being held while we walk around or snuggle him.

He is very calm, but will join his siblings when they are running around to burn off some extra energy. He loves to play chase with his siblings and the ball track.
Laddie has done well understanding the body language of adult cats in the foster home and shares a space with them respectfully.
He usually keeps to himself, however, when he is not playing or napping with his littermates.

***Laddie was diagnosed with Eosinophilic ulcers in his mouth after some testing was done in October, so we have started him on prednisolone and a different antibiotic. He seems to have already responded well to the medication. The vet says this may flare up in the future, but due to this recent diagnosis, we don't know for sure yet. Sometimes a single treatment of prednisolone is all that is needed. Flare ups may occur, so management with your veterinarian is important. Otherwise, Laddie is very happy and healthy, having gained a pound between his vet visit in October.***

Laddie would prefer to be adopted with his brother, Snowball!

He hears and smells the dogs in his foster home daily. He was very interested when meeting a calm, cat-friendly dog and often would approach the dog to get to know him better.

Laddie is very comfortable with kids, ages 7 & 11. He is comfortable and happy being held or carried by the children in his foster home and enjoys the attention they give him.

He would prefer a family that is able to spend time with him and who encourages his growing confidence and cherishes his sweet personality with plenty of affection.

The adoption fee for this wonderful pair is $500.

All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV&felv, and have been treated for parasites.

- - - -

If you are interested in applying for one of our cats, please send us an inquiry through Petfinder or email us at:
ballots@fairpoint.net

Please do not call our hotline about these cat as email works best.

- - - -

PAR volunteers accept applications and upon pre-approval, a PAR volunteer will facilitate the visit with the adoptable cat.

We do not do visits unless the application has been pre-approved first.

Please watch our FaceBook page for adoption event postings happening at the PetSmart in Sunrise Village, Puyallup!
