Lacy's Story

My sister Lexie and I were rescued from a deep, dirty window well at an apartment complex in Southeast D.C. Our mom apparently put us there for safekeeping, but we were struggling to survive, as there wasn’t enough food for all of us and our little bodies were covered in fleas and flea dirt. Fortunately, Rock Creek Cats took us indoors, cleaned us up and started giving us lots of tasty food. We’re a bonded pair and would prefer to be adopted together. (I am the tabby.) Besides eating, we enjoy cuddling, scattering our toys and beds, and climbing. We’ve been spayed and vaccinated, so we’re looking for someone who has enough room, time and energy for both of us.
