Lacey's Story

Lacey is a young (2022), quiet, shy girl. She has spent her entire life in the shelter office where she felt most comfortable. She is a petite fluffy girl with the most adorable short legs!

While Lacey used to completely avoid strangers, she’s gotten much braver in the last few months! The videos of her being pet are actually with a teenage volunteer that she had never met before. Once you gain her trust you’ll find she loves to be pet and has the softest, non-matting coat! She would do best in a quiet house with a patient adopter, willing to give her the time to settle in. She would prefer a home with other cat friends to hang out and nap with.

Lacey is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm disease.
Questions about Lacey? Call the shelter at 309-797-6550 or text 319-241-5339

**Animal Aid is a 100% volunteer run, 501c3 no-kill shelter. Can’t adopt but want to make a difference?
