Lacey's Story
Lacey (DOB November 2021) was surrendered to Safe Haven in November
2024. In March 2025, she was adopted from Safe Haven, and sadly due to
an illness in the adopter's home, she was returned to us in September 2025.

Lacey is a friendly, affectionate, and loving kitty who truly craves attention
and connection. She has lots of energy and lives for playtime - especially
when wand toys are involved or when she spots movement under a blanket,
which sends her into an excited pounce!

Lacey gets along okay with her feline roommates, though she prefers to be
the one in charge, which can sometimes make other kitties give her a little
space. With people she trusts, she absolutely shines. She enjoys visits from
volunteers and is easy to pet.

When meeting someone new, Lacey may be a bit timid and shy at first, but
don’t let that fool you. She warms up quickly, gains trust with ease, and
soon becomes a devoted best friend who’s eager to share her love and
playful spirit.

Lacey would be happiest on her own, or with a laid back kitty who can
appreciate her confident nature. Lacey would thrive in a lively household
where she can be the center of attention. A home with children who can play
with her and keep her entertained would be perfect. She needs a space
where she can run, jump, and explore, with plenty of toys to keep her
stimulated. If you’re looking for a playful, energetic companion who will fill
your home with laughter and joy, Lacey is the cat for you!

To visit the shelter located at the Thrift Shop/Cattail Farm,1784 Post Road, Wells, ME (Route 1), please go to our website and fill out an adoption application.
