AGE: Young Adult - Approximately 1.5 years DESCRIPTION: DSH Black House Panther LOCATION: PETS Shelter (114 W Main Street) - Panora, IA MY STORY: Kyle showed up at a volunteer's home crying at the front door. He wanted in desperately and they soon realized he had an injured back foot. They live on the edge of town near fields so he definitely wanted inside to safety. His little injured foot has healed nicely and there is just a tiny spot of missing fur that we hope will grow back. He doesn't like to be alone; he would much rather be with humans. He is tolerant of other kitties but doesn't seem to interact with them much. With humans, he is extremely affectionate and loving. He will follow you around and attempt to get you to pay attention to him no matter what you are doing. Kyle would be a wonderful kitty for a child who wants a loving and playful kitty. He likes toys but his foster mom hasn't had any luck getting him to run on the exercise wheel...because he would rather sit with her. If you are looking for an awesome house panther with quite the purrsonality, Kyle is your kitty. He is a handsome fellow with jet black, thick fur and beautiful green eyes. He is full grown and solid; he's quite the looker. :) MORE DETAILS: Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $75. Adopt a pair of kitties for $100. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms. We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty.
