Kung Phooey's Story
Hi there… the name’s Kung Phooey!
Yes, like the joke, and yes, I’m just as memorable.

I’m a very handsome buff orange gentleman, and I’d love to tell you how I landed here and why I’m ready for my forever home.

I came to the sanctuary through the spay/neuter program, but during my visit our amazing veterinarian discovered something wasn’t right. I had a severe leg injury along with wounds across my little body. Sending me back to where I came from would have been cruel, so instead, they chose me. They kept me safe, loved, and gave me the care I desperately needed.

Because of my injury, I became a tripod, that means I have three legs now. And guess what?
It doesn’t slow me down one bit.
I’m all healed up and thriving! I climb cat trees, run around, play, use the litter box like a pro, and live my best life. Three legs? No problem.

Personality-wise, I’m a total sweetheart. I love pets, so much that I lean right into your hand. I’ll even meow to remind you that it’s petting time. I don’t mind being held for short periods, especially if it means extra affection. I’m also a big fan of meals on wheels and food (honestly, who isn’t?).

I get along wonderfully with other cats and love rubbing up against my feline friends. I’m gentle, social, and just really happy to be here… but I’d love even more to have a home of my own.

You can come meet me daily from 1–5pm at the sanctuary. I’ll be the buff orange tripod leaning into pets and stealing hearts.

I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

If you are interested in adopting Kung Phooey, please come visit… we are open daily from 1-5pm (including holidays)… we want to meet you in person! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at info@furballcats.com or message us on Facebook: Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary.
