Kumquat's Story

Hi! I'm Kumquat (sister to Rambutan)

I'm a playful, brave little bean, with a pretty creamy patch on my chest. I'm not sure what a Kumquat is, but everyone around here says the name just makes sense.

I have a tiny round face with lil cheeks made for squishing, and a really BIG personality. I keep my foster family laughing, and am always ready to tumble around and play.

I'm definitely the brave one of the bunch, and once I figured out how good pets were, and that peoples had food, I came around pretty quickly. I helped my sister socialize a lot, and whenever she was scared, I went to go check things out first. Now that I love humans, I'm a real cuddle-bug, and they can't get rid of me once I see they're sitting and I can lay on them haha. I love to snuggle up next to you on the couch, and purr louder than anyone else in the house. When I'm curious and playful, my whiskers stick straight forward, too, so that's how you'll know I'm really interested.

My foster home has a dog, a big giant german shepherd husky mix to be exact, and while I was a little scared of him attention first, we're now really good friends. I like to try and catch his tail, boop his nose, and rub all over him. I think I really like dogs! As long as they are friendly and relaxed, of course. I don't think I would like a high energy dog, I may be brave, but I'm still tiny.

I'm pretty independent, but because I'm young, I should go home with a friend (Rambutan (my sister), Siouxsie and Desi are my favorites to snuggle and play with here! Maybe I can go home with one of them?), or be coming into a house with other kitties so I can play with them.

I am fixed, vaxxed, and ready to meet my new family! I have all my claws, and if you provide vertical and horizontal scratching posts, I will use them. If you'd like to meet me and see if we're the purrfect fit, please submit an application for me!
