Kuda's Story

Kuda is a beautiful 13-year-old tortie who absolutely lives up to the classic tortie reputation--she's full of spunk, personality, and confidence. Don't let her age fool you; this girl still has plenty of energy and a big zest for life. More than anything, Kuda loves attention. She adores being close to her people and is happiest curled up in a warm lap, soaking up all the affection she can get. If you're looking for a true companion cat who wants to love and be loved, Kuda is your girl.

Kuda is FIV+, but that's nothing to worry about in a calm, loving home. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, and healthy lives, and the risk of transmitting it to other cats is very low--especially in peaceful households. There is no risk to humans or other pets. Kuda hasn't spent time around other cats or animals before, so she'd be happiest as the only pet in the household. If you are 62 years or older, Kuda's adoption fee is just $25 with HART's Seniors for Seniors program. If you have any questions about FIV or about Kuda herself, please feel free to give HART a call--we'd be happy to talk with you and help you learn more about this wonderful cat.
