Meet the Dynamic Duo: Kriss & Kringle! Are you looking for double the love and twice the holiday cheer? Meet Kriss and Kringle, a bonded pair of kitten siblings who are ready to find their forever chimney to slide down! These two are the definition of "better together." Whether they are chasing feather wands or curling up into a single pile of purring fluff, they do everything as a team. Why They Are Special Kriss and Kringle recently tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). While this can sound scary, it doesn't change the fact that they are happy, playful, and energetic kittens right now! Because they are still very young, there is a strong possibility that their immune systems could "clear" the virus as they grow. They will need to be retested at 6 months of age to see if they have transitioned to a negative status. The Perfect Match Since they are FeLV+, they have a few specific needs for their new home: A "Pair-Only" Home: They should be the only cats in the house, or live with other FeLV+ feline friends so they don't spread the virus. Indoor Only: To keep their immune systems strong and keep other neighborhood cats safe.

Through our Adoptions Program, we offer a variety of wonderful animals who are deserving of a loving, responsible home. Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, de-worming, flea treatment, as well as heartworm, feline leukemia and FIV testing. In addition to being open Monday through Saturday, we also extend our adoption programs reach with our Mobile Pet Adoptions van, which enables us to go into our community with adoptable animals in Mendocino as well as Fort Bragg. We also feature an adoptable animal weekly on Skunk Radio and in local newspapers. We want you! MCHS is always looking for volunteers.
