Please see the information at the bottom of this listing for our adoption application**<br/><br/>Hello, I'm Kovu!!<br/><br/>Kovu is a sweet, independent girl who tends to keep to herself, but she absolutely loves attention when her person comes to her. She happily welcomes pets, cuddles, and affection and enjoys having her person spend time with her.<br/>Kovu has some lingering coordination issues from surviving panleukopenia, which makes her a little wobbly. She gets around independently but isn't as quick or agile as a typical cat. Despite her wobbliness, Kovu is surprisingly brave! She has no fear of climbing a cat tree and will confidently jump down from it. A small, sturdy cat tree would be a great addition to her home.<br/>Because she can't always move out of the way quickly when she needs to, a home with very young or extremely active children would need to be mindful of this and give her safe spaces where she can retreat.<br/>Kovu would thrive in a home where someone can give her plenty of attention and affection while also understanding and accommodating her mobility limitations. She doesn't need constant entertainment—she mainly needs a patient person who will let her come out of her shell at her own pace and give her lots of love when she asks for it.<br/>Kovu would love to be adopted together with her sister, Krishna, but could also adjust to being adopted on her own.<br/><br/>Both Kovu and Krishna will be fully vaccinated and spayed by the end of September, and will then be ready for adoption.<br/><br/>If you would like to adopt Kovu, please fill out an application here: https://josiesmisfitranch.org/adoption-app or e-mail marla@josiesmisfitranch.org for more information.
