🐾 Hello friends, I'm Kovu! 🐾<br/><br/>I'm a 5-year-old handsome fellow with sleek black fur and big, bright green eyes 💚 that always seem to sparkle in the light. I've been told I look a bit like a panther, but don't worry--I'm really just a gentle, affectionate cuddle-bug at heart. Life hasn't always been easy for me. I came to the shelter with an abscess on my tail and some painful teeth that had to be removed. But thanks to the love and care I've received, I'm feeling so much better now and ready for my happy-ever-after. Even though I went through some tough times, I never lost my sweet, loving spirit.<br/><br/>I'm a pretty easy-going guy--"go with the flow" is kind of my motto. You'll often find me perched in a high window watching the world go by, or stretched out in a cozy spot for a nap. But the truth is, my absolute favorite thing in the world is being close to my humans. 🤗 I'm an affectionate snuggler who loves curling up on laps and soaking up all the love I can get. I get along really well with other cats and with kids, so I'd make a wonderful addition to just about any family. I'm not demanding, just grateful for attention, pets, and maybe a treat or two. Speaking of treats, I can still eat kibble (though it's extra tasty when softened with water or broth), and I really enjoy wet food too. 🍗<br/><br/>I'm already neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated, so I'm all ready to start my next chapter.
