Kourtney's Story

** COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT RESCUER/FOSTER:

Kourtney is such a special cat, I wouldn't know where to start! Probably because she's been through so much in her short life. She has been fending for herself since she was just a kitten. Having litter after litter, Kourtney has had to protect her life and her babies' lives from coyotes.
She has endured illness, hunger, and cruel neighbors. Thankfully she found a kind neighbor in a cul-de-sac that took to feeding her. This kind person contacted us and told us that this Kitty looked to be injured and have other issues. When we found her, she had a severe case of mange.
The mange was treated and cleared up completely, as her beautiful black soft coat grew in. We also discovered that Kourtney had been suffering since November of 2024 with a broken leg. That's a long time to be in so much pain!

However, through all of this and through her pain she has shown to be so incredibly sweet! She loves affection and to be petted even before food. She rolls around in her bed hoping that you will stick around as long as possible petting her and scratching her Little Neck.
Kourtney tried desperately for a long time to go into the home of the kind neighbor. Probably because she was terrified of the coyotes around and to escape the cold. Sadly, the neighbor could not bring her in, but she is finally safe. Kourtney had to go undergo amputation and she is now a tripod! Which makes her even more special! This does not stop her from getting around as any other cat would. She has also shown to be very good with other cats but also wouldn't mind being the apple of your eye. Princess Kourtney is ready for a home and cannot wait to give you all her love and affection!

* Date of Birth: June 2021 (approx)
* Spayed
* Vaccinated
* SNAP Test Results:
*FELV Negative
*FIV Negative
* Microchipped
* Flea Treated
* Dewormed
* Litterbox Trained: Open Box
* Litter Preference: All-Natural & Unscented Litter
* Scratch Post Preference: Rope Sisal & Cardboard
* Littermates and/or Best Friends:

Another life saved from the streets - Sterilize, Don't Euthanize!

PETFINDER FORMS EXPLANATION:

* ADOPTION APPLICATIONS:
.
