Kona (from the coffee litter)'s Story

Kona
Est DOB 6/26
Adoption fee $325

Kona has such unique coloring we really don’t know what breed to call him. The color of his fur is like a light milk chocolate, lilac/lavendar-so sweet and very rare.

He and his entire litter of nine kittens were rescued from a hoarding situation. They were covered in fleas, infested with tapeworms, very hungry but happy spirits none the less. Several were being hit by cars and picked off by coyotes. The survivors are the lucky ones.

We quickly got them the medical they needed and they are healthy and VERY happy. They love running around with their foster mates, getting their wet food twice a day and making everything they find, a toy.

We just can’t say enough good things about each and every one of these precious babies.
They all need to be adopted with a littermate or into a home with another young cat/kitten.

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
