This is Koffee!
Koffee is a domestic short haired black tuxedo, neutered male, up to date on his shots, around 4 years old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Northwest Indiana!

Hellllooo! I'm Koffee! I'm looking for a new home. I had one before, because I have a microchip, but neither the shelter or the microchip company could get a call back from my previous owner. Its okay ..I don't think they wanted me back since I've been on the streets awhile. A nice person fed me (and let me stay around their house) for almost a year. They thought I was just another stray kitty. The person started noticing a lot of the other stray kitties were picking on me though and tried getting me to go in a carrier. No way!! Then they put my food in a metal box but I wasn't going in there either! I think that was a trap! I thought maybe my previous owners still wanted me and would find me, but they never did. After living outside through Fall and early Winter, I noticed it was getting
really cold and snowy. I knew I couldn't stay outside so I ran into the house of the person that was feeding me! Yayyyyyy!! I was finally warm again! I let the person put me in a carrier and here I am at the shelter. I'm a good boy and just want to play and get pets so I'm not sure why my previous owners didn't want me, but I'm hoping someone out there will want me again....I really want me forever home this time!

Come see me at the Valparaiso PetSmart today! I have my own "room" there and we can visit! if you have another kitty , we will probably get along (with the proper introduction period) if they are nice. However, I'm not sure about dogs or kids. They might be okay as long as they are gentle. I am a big panther boy, but I like to be held and played with gently. I'm very sweet!

Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't normally get a chance at getting a forever home, a chance! Our fosters & volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to get them used to being pet and to show them no one will hurt them. However, when they go to a new home, some kitties will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance.
