Koala's Story
Meet Lemur and Koala (DOB 7/6/26), two little sisters who were found together in a ditch in Aberdeen with an open can of food and a dirty kitty bed. A kind passerby spotted them and brought them to Feline Friends, and it quickly became clear these girls needed some serious TLC.

At only 5–6 weeks old, they were already eating on their own, which was a very good thing, because they had a lot of catching up to do! Both needed medical attention, and Koala arrived with an ulcerated eye. Thanks to treatment, she's doing wonderfully and she gets to keep her eye!

Update: Koala just had entropion surgery 10/20/26 on her eye as the eyelashes were irritating her eyeball. Surgery was a success and she is recovering nicely.

Lemur and Koala are thriving. They're happy, playful, adventurous, affectionate little girls who are making up for lost time. Lemur is a tabby and white beauty with the cutest little gray nose, while fluffy Koala is basically a walking teddy bear.

These sisters are good with other cats and have been introduced to dogs. They would do best in a home with children over 5 since they're still small.

We believe Lemur and Koala are bonded. They've been through a lot together, and they clearly look out for each other. After everything they've overcome side by side, we'd love to see these two land in a home together.

From a ditch in Aberdeen to a cozy couch of their very own... these girls are ready for the next chapter!

Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention. Koala is spayed.

First time pet owners, a personal reference is required. Must be over 21.

Current pet owners, pets must be fixed and up to date with vaccines. Vet reference required.

Donations appreciated from Chewy.com!

https://www.chewy.com/g/feline-friends-of-moore-county_b71820310#wish-list

Fostered in Vass, NC
