Knuckle Sandwich's Story
More/better pics coming soon!

Do you miss Grumpy Cat's musings? Is your current cat not judgemental enough? Or maybe you're too Midwest nice to give your idiot roommate the stink eye. We have your answer! Meet Knuckle Sandwich, the kitten with an adorably grumpy face.

Despite her disapproving mug, Knuckle Sandwich is a total sweetheart. A few pets and she starts loudly purring. Though she is still very much a kitten with kitten levels of energy, she is the calmest of her littermates. While her cohorts are trying to climb on their foster parent's shoulders or into a nose (looking at you, Rachel Sandwich), Knuckle is more likely to quietly perch herself on a knee or situate herself in a lap.

Knuckle was found abandoned with her presumed littermates and fellow sandwiches, Reuben and Rachel, as well as a seemingly unrelated adult cat. She was in pretty rough shape when she came to us -- Knuckle was severely dehydrated and ematiated, plus she was sick with an upper respiratory infection. Fortunately with some veterinary care and TLC she pulled through and is thriving! She is currently at the tail end of a treatment course for an eye infection, but that will be completed before she goes to her new home. As of January 2nd she weighs 3.7#.

Send us a message or fill out an adoption application if you have any questions or if you're interested in meeting Knuckle Sandwich. We do have an optional adoption application to help get the conversation started, or potential adopters can also send us a message or email. After chatting with the foster home, the next step is a meet and greet so everyone can get acquainted. If the adoption is a go we'll get the paperwork signed to make it official and send the pet home with their medical records. Same day adoptions are possible but not required.

Adoption Fee: We believe in lowering the barriers to adoption; because of this, we do not require a minimum adoption fee. We do, however, rely on financial contributions. Any funds received is at the discretion of the adopter and goes toward the care of animals in our rescue
