Klaire recently underwent a successful surgery to remove several mammary glands. While she was diagnosed with Stage 2 mammary cancer, there is a very bright silver lining: her history shows these masses were incredibly slow-growing over the course of five years. This tells us that Klaire is a sturdy girl who doesn't let her health journey slow her down! To ensure she continues to live a long, high-quality life, she just needs an adopter who will commit to her "wellness plan." This simply means annual vet checkups and a watchful eye for any new growth, which may require future gland removals to keep her feeling her best. Additionally, Klaire had a dental procedure in 2025 where several teeth were removed; she's feeling much better now, but her new family should have her pearly whites monitored during her yearly exams to keep her mouth healthy and pain-free. We have her full medical records ready to share so you and your vet can stay ahead of the curve together.
