Kiwi & Mango

Meet Kiwi and Mango—the ultimate double-trouble dream team! This 4-month-old brother and sister duo bring the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, silly, and adventurous to any home.

Kiwi (The Chatty Cuddlebug)
Kiwi is an almost solid-black shorthair with a adorable tiny white triangle on his belly. A recovering mama’s boy, he can be a little cautious in new situations, but it only takes him a brief moment to warm up and let his true personality shine!
• The Voice: Kiwi is famous for his hilarious, adorable "talking" meows. His foster family constantly giggles at his chatter—especially his impatient "feed me now!" meow.
• Play & Quirks: He loves the Cat Dancer, small toy mice, and crinkly paper balls. If he brings you a toy, get ready—he actually likes to play fetch! He also has a hilarious quirky side where he seems to see things that might not be there.
• Cuddle Style: Extremely food-motivated, super sweet, and a world-class biscuit maker! Kiwi loves nothing more than making biscuits everywhere while settling down to nap right next to you under the blankets.

Mango (The Brave Pocket Rocket)
Mango is a stunning mackerel tabby shorthair who may be the smallest of her litter, but she has the biggest personality in the room! She is insanely curious, super brave, and would make an incredible adventure cat.
• The Voice: Unlike her vocal brother, Mango has the sweetest, most gentle little squeak for a meow. It’s an impossibly soft, endearing whisper of a voice that will instantly melt your heart!
• Food Motivation Level 100: Mango takes treat time very seriously! She used to attempt full-claw climbing up legs when food was being prepared, but her foster family cleverly channeled her passion by lifting her up to ride shotgun on their shoulders while making her meals. Now, riding on your shoulder or being carried around in one arm to watch you do house chores is one of her absolute favorite activity!
• Play & Style: She’s always the first to bravely explore new toys (especially the Cat Dancer and anything that moves on its own) or check out a high window perch. She loves human attention and affection, but she balances it well with an independent, non-clingy streak.

Kiwi and Mango are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Whether you need Kiwi’s sweet blanket snuggles and funny conversations, or Mango’s brave shoulder-riding adventures, this duo promises double the love and endless entertainment.

Apply today to bring Kiwi & Mango home!

All OARS cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper, and have had dewormer medication as a preventive measure. Some kitties may even have a microchip.

HOW TO ADOPT

*Complete an adoption application on our website
http://www.orphananimalrescue.org/adopt

*Contact your veterinarian's office and NON-RELATED personal references to expect a phone call from someone at OARS. This helps us process the application within 2 days.

We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in cozy rooms (cage-free!) where they can play with their favorite toys, watch bird feeder activity, and nap in a favorite sunny spot.
To save as many lives as possible, we partner directly with other rescues and shelters to focus our efforts on overcrowded facilities and kitties who require extra TLC to prepare them for adoption. Because of this, we cannot accept cats directly from the public. Everything we do is fueled by your generosity! As a 100% donation-supported rescue, every dollar goes straight toward food, supplies, and veterinary care for the animals in our hands.

Get involved and be part of the difference for these pets.
Facebook: ORPHAN ANIMAL RESCUE AND SANCTUARY
Website: OrphanAnimalRescue.org
Instagram: @OARSRescue
TikTok: @OARSRescue
