Kitty Baby's Story

**COURTESY POST**

Meet Kitty Baby! This adorable boy is not in the care of Heavenly Paws. If you have questions, or would like to adopt him, please contact Bonnie at (540) 664-6865.

I am desperately looking for a home for a male neutered cat, approximately 2 years old. This was my mother in laws cat, and she passed away recently. This happened after her spouse passed a year ago, so he has been through some significant changes. He has been staying with my mom temporarily, but she has a pet bunny she's had for years and they aren't a good match. He is currently in Dundalk, MD.

His name is Kitty Baby. Has a high prey drive, so he will handle any mice and bugs for you. He is litter trained with no accidents. Has always been indoors, except for in a carriage ride zipped in. Neutered, but not current on rabies and distemper. I have his records. He is best alone. We tried him at my house with a cat in the next room and he was not a happy camper. He can also be moody. If he wants treats or wet food and you tell him no, he gets angry and is prone to bite on occasion. Therefore, he is not good for children. He needs someone with patience. He will be a butthead when he first gets there. He will hiss and have a fit, but the 2nd or 3rd day he's rubbing all over your legs begging for attention. He eats half a can of wet am and pm and has dry food freely.

I know this is a big ask, but the shelters are full. I'm hoping there is someone out there with a home and the patience for this beautiful boy. I can't keep him due to my own zoo. His owner passed suddenly, and this was really unexpected. It's no fault of his own that he needs a new home.

Please visit our website www.heavenlypawsshelter.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available cats and kittens.
