Kitty's Story

What my friends at ACC say about me:
My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!
I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.
I like attention, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some feline body language together!

A volunteer writes: Kitty's a gentle cat trying his best to find his way. Sure, the circumstances may be less than ideal and he admittedly might not be the most outgoing personality at the shelter, but Kitty's absolutely a standout cat. Plus, we meet our friends where they are and Kitty's been kind of banking on that. Brought to us in August without a whole lot of information, I met Kitty when he was snuggled in the back of his cubby and I watched him peek in and out several times before deciding that he really did want to lean his whole little cat neck into my hand. We snuggled and played for a bit and while he truly loved the former, his openness when it came to playtime was adorable. The shelter might not be the easiest place for Kitty to shine as he's meant to, but my heart always goes out to someone trying to find their way and I hope yours will too. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: Gray Tabby Weight: 8.6lbs Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks
