Kitten: Carly *Must go home with Max OR to a home with another cat*

Carly was found in a shoebox outside of Carmax, along with her brother Max. Despite this sad start, she has grown into a bright, energetic and affectionate kitten who loves pets and treats. Carly loves snoozing in high-up places and would love a cat tree to call home. While Carly loves being near you, napping next to you, or sometimes even climbing up on you to say hi, she doesn't particularly care for being held.<br/><br/>Carly loves other cats, and would do well with other cats in the home. <br/><br/>Carly seems to have trouble digesting chicken and turkey-based foods - currently she enjoys tuna and salmon wet and dry food. <br/><br/>Interested in adopting a kitty?!<br/><br/>The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which is located on our website at: www.rescueandadopt.org/adopt. <br/><br/>Please remember to include:<br/><br/>1) Your $15 adoption deposit, which will be subtracted from the adoption fee, if you are approved to adopt.<br/><br/>2) Vet records for any current cats or dogs in the home. For cats, we require that they are up to date on their rabies and FVRCP vaccines and seen for an annual wellness exam. For dogs, we require that they are up to date on their rabies vaccine and seen for an annual wellness exam. <br/><br/>3) Permission from your landlord if you rent from a private landlord. We can verify pet policies at apartment complexes. <br/><br/>4) Proof of home ownership if you do NOT live in Maryland. <br/><br/>Adoption fees: $150 for kittens and cats under 5 years old. $125 for cats 5 years old and over. We do offer a 15% discount for adopting 2 ADULT cats (over 1 year old) at once, and for certain professions -- first responders, teachers and active or former members of the military.
