Kitomi (bonded with Shinju; Japanese Litter)'s Story
The Best Things Come in Pairs
Who can argue that socks only work in pairs? Or that peanut butter and jelly make a solid duo? If you agree, then Kitomi is the one (of two) for you! Kitomi is a young beautiful brown tabby who will dote on you second only to her beloved sister, Shinju. She is a social little butterfly, flitting between playing with her sister and napping with her human counterparts. She’ll even pair well with big dogs, playing with them if her sister starts to bore her. She radiates a confident personality and gets along with almost everyone given the chance to acclimate. Kitomi boasts her ability to warm up to creatures great and small, from other cats, to big dogs, to giant humans!
You can often find her napping curled up with her sister in the sunshine. If not found there, the next best place to find Kitomi is napping with her human! If you have not yet guessed, napping in a warm sunny place with Shinju is her favorite pastime. But just like humans, cats can have their faults too. Kitomi’s friendly sociable nature only cracks slightly when she gets impatient for her dinner. She would argue that being punctual is a virtue.
Kitomi’s greatest hope and dream is to find a family whose heart and home is big enough for both her and her sister. She adores Shinju and could not imagine a home without her. Much like socks that do not function without their pair, Kitomi needs Shinju just the same. So if Kitomi catches your eye, make the set complete with the pair!
If you’d like to take this kitty home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application. The adoption fee is $250 (for the pair) and covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of our cats have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
