Kit Kat's Story

This sweet girl is still figuring out this whole human thing, but she is making progress.

She is a shy and timid kitten who is learning that people can be safe, kind, and, most importantly, a reliable source of wet food. She will greet her foster in the morning with little meows when she's ready for breakfast, and she's starting to show us more of her sweet personality.

She is not comfortable being held yet and can be nervous with new people and unfamiliar situations. However, once she settles in and feels safe, she will allow gentle pets and has even started to purr. Those little moments are exactly what we're looking for as she continues to build confidence.

She is very much a work in progress, and her future family will need to give her the time and patience she deserves. She may not be the kitten who runs up to greet you on day one, but with consistency, patience, and plenty of love, we believe she has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.

She would do best with someone who understands that earning a shy cat's trust is a process, and who will celebrate the little victories along the way.
