Kirby's Story

Kirby was found on a street corner in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and was more interested in playing than being rescued. <br/><br/>While we do not know how he ended up there, we do know that he has loved being an indoor kitty ever since. <br/><br/>He is a huge fan of chin rubs, and playing with his foster brother Heirloom, and you can even hold him like a baby. <br/><br/>He loves other cats and so he needs to go to a home with another playful cat, or ideally with his foster brother, who is also listed here. <br/><br/>Kirby is less than a year old, negative for FIV and FeLV and ready to find his forever family. Is it you?!

Bookstore Cats's Adoption Policy
Filling out an adoption application is the first part of the process. Once the application is reviewed, I will check references and contact the applicant to set up a video interview. During the video the adopter will give me a tour of their living space, so that I can check for solid screens on all of the windows and any potential hazards to the cat. If approved, we will set up a time for them to meet the cat, either by video chat first or in person.
