Kirby's Story

KIRBY was discovered as a stray and his rescuer took him home but her 2 older females would not acclimate to him; they beat him up constantly! She reluctantly gave him up and we fully vetted him. Only about a year old, he's had a rough life outside and tested FIV+, but they can live with uninfected cats as long as there's no serious fighting like unneutered males do over territory or females. Studies following mixed households for 20+ years showed NO incidents of transmission - Maddie's Fund.<br/><br/>KIRBY is a handsome, gentle boy just waiting for his furrever home. Kopy Kat Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

Fill out adoption application for pre-approval. Cats are to be kept indoors unless otherwise specified (barn/colony cats). Adoption donation is $125 and includes spay/neuter, rabies and cat vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, tested for FeLv and FIV, and microchipping.
