Kira's Story

Kira is an adorable, brown tabby who made a few sporadic appearances at the Rescue’s President's home in August before being trapped around 9 pm on Saturday, August 22.

The Rescue’s President knew by Kira's cry and behavior, that she was not feral, just scared. Once transferred from the trap to the cage, she started to purr, meow and "make muffins" on her bedding. Kira's coat, nails, and ears were all clean, so she must not have been outside for long. No chip was found when scanned; she did not have a spay scar, and there were no reports of a lost cat matching her description in the area. She is only about 5-6 months old.

Kira is very sweet, quick to purr, makes muffins and give head butts. She is not a huge fan of being picked up but will snuggle in your lap. Kira is curious about other cats and kittens.

Approximate DOB 02/22/26

Up to date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, spayed.

You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you live in a parent or guardian's home, they must complete the application. An application does not guarantee an adoption. Our cats and kittens are not adopted on a first come, first served basis, but whom we feel would be the best fit for our cats and kittens.

If interested please e-mail us at Chanceatliferescue@gmail.com or download an application from our websitehttp://www.chanceatlifecatrescue.com/.
