Kira's Story

Kira is a very lucky little girl, she was the sole survivor of her litter. She came to us on a very hot day, she was dehydrated and weak, but she perked up quickly with some TLC!<br/><br/>Kira is a very opinionated and independent little lady! But don't let that fool you, she may come across as shy at times but she loves a good petting session. Kira absolutely adores her older foster siblings, she loves to wrestle and run around. She's a rough and tumble type of gal. <br/><br/>Kira would thrive in a calm environment. She does well with cats and is learning to be around a cat friendly dog! Cali's Misfits's Adoption Policy

Once an application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Cali's Misfits Team. A volunteer will contact the applicant to schedule a phone call to review the application and go over any questions. If the applicant and cat are a good match, the volunteer will schedule a meet and greet. At the meet and greet, the applicant will be able to decide if they want to move forward to complete the adoption and take home the kitty! Each adoption is unique, we prefer to match the adopter with a kitty (or two). If they have a kitty in mind then we will see if they are a good match, if not we can recommend other kitties that may be a better fit. For kittens under 12 weeks of age priority is given to an adopter with another cat in the home or interested in adopting two kittens.
