Kintaro's Story
? Meet Kintaro!

Kintaro is a shy, gentle soul who’s still learning that humans can be friends. He may not be a lap cat (at least not yet!), but he has his own quiet ways of showing affection. Every morning before breakfast, he’ll follow his people around, curious and hopeful for his meal (It’s his favorite part of the day!)

He’s a “ground-level lounger” who prefers relaxing on the couch and keeping an eye on things from a comfortable distance. Kintaro loves to play with little catnip mouse toys and especially enjoys romping around with his siblings. In fact, he’d do best in a home with another friendly cat or kitten to help him feel secure and confident.

Kintaro is still gaining trust and learning to socialize with humans, but he’s making progress every day. He doesn’t cry for attention- instead, he quietly follows along and joins in when he’s ready. Once he knows you, he may allow gentle pets on his own terms, though he’s not a fan of being picked up or cuddled.

Kintaro is looking for a patient, loving adopter who understands that shy cats bloom in their own time. With consistency, kindness, and a feline friend by his side, Kintaro has all the potential to come out of his shell and show the sweet personality that’s waiting just beneath the surface. ?
